What they say: Bridging the gap between science and natural ingredients, Goldfaden MD is a US brand developed by practising dermatologist Dr Gary Goldfaden which uses active plant cells and antioxidant-rich botanicals. The latest peel is packed full of fruit enzymes and lactic acid to remove dead skin and improve radiance.
What we say: Having tried the brand’s bestselling Doctor’s Scrub, a gritty exfoliator, we were intrigued by Fresh A Peel.
Usability: We’ve all been known to use a product for longer than it recommends on the instructions in a bid to achieve even better results. This, though, is not a product to do that with. The three minutes stated is more than enough time to feel a tingle and wash away any dead skin.
Results: Skin feels noticeably softer and smoother after using the mask. We’ve been using it twice a week for the past two weeks in the shower, so that the steam can help unblock pores and boost the peel.
Insider tip: We saw the best results when we used the peel in the evening and followed it with a repairing serum and cream mask. Come morning, skin felt hydrated and plumped.
