'Bull' Adds MacKenzie Meehan in Recurring Season 3 Role (Exclusive)

July 2024 · 2 minute read

Bull is adding a new castmember to fill the spot left by the departure of Annabelle Attanasio.

MacKenzie Meehan (Vinyl, The Wolf of Wall Street) will recur on season three of the CBS drama as Taylor, the newest member of the Trial Analysis Corporation team, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Prior to the season premiere, Meehan’s role was upgraded to series regular.

Taylor is a former colleague of Marissa’s (Geneva Carr) from her time at the Department of Homeland Security. Like Cable (Attanasio), her expertise lies in coding and hacking.

A single mother, Taylor is not a Jason Bull acolyte and views her job with TAC as just that — a job. As such, she’s unapologetic about expecting to be able to leave at a set time and have weekends free.

Attanasio, who played TAC’s information and research expert, Cable McCrory, left the series at the end of the 2017-18 season. The parting was amicable, as the actress is stepping away from the show to direct her first feature film.

There’s no word yet as to how Cable’s departure will be addressed onscreen. The show’s second season ended with the future of a couple characters (including Michael Weatherly’s title character) up in the air, but Cable appeared to be in a pretty safe place.

Meehan’s credits include My All-American and guest roles on USA Network’s White Collar and HBO’s Mildred Pierce miniseries. She is repped by Parseghian Planco Management and the law firm of Stone Genow.

Bull‘s third-season premiere is set for Monday, Sept. 24, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
